From the Hunter District Organ Society Newsletter Vol. 25, No.1, March 2003 and Vol.18, No. 6, November 1994:

The organ was built by W.L. Roberts of Adelaide in 1930 and renovated and altered by A. Welby of Sydney in 1978. Eight of the 14 stops are extended from 2 ranks. The alterations of 1978 were: Ranks A and B were revoiced, the Mixture was added, a Nazard was remade from the Voix Celeste, the Sifflute was remade from the Viol d'gamba, and the Trumpet was remade from the Closed Horn. Solid state action, a new blower and a new pedalboard were also installed. During 2002 Peter Jewkes undertook a number of maintenance items.
